Keeping fit means different things to different people.Most people assume that keeping fit means exercising on a regular basis.However,the correct way to keep fit is not only to exercise regularly,but aslo to practice healthy eating habits and to stay away from bad habits that jeopardize the health.Exercise has many benefits.Everyone knows that it keeps us slim and fit.Studies have shown that exercise helps to relax the mind and reduce stress levels.Keeping fit also means eating a well-balanced diet.We should incerease our intake of fruits and vegetables and cut down on fattening food.Our body need many types of nutrients which we get through consuming the right food.It is also important not to skip meals and to eat small meals at regular intervals.Lastly,avoid activities that jeopardize the health such as smoking and drinking alcohol excessively.Everyone should make an effort to keep fit.It will help us to lead healthier and happier lives
