How to memorize Al-Quran

Start your memorisation from the last surahs of the 30th Chapter in the Qur'an e.g Surah Naas, Falaq etc. This is how we are traditionally taught memorisation in Tahfiz School, and Alhamdulilah we have a lot of Hafiz. The reason is, that the last few surahs are shorter, thus easier to remember. They also contain certain repeated ayats, and words. Some words also 'rhyme' kind of, so it becomes easier to remember. As you proceed backwards this way, the surahs will gradually get longer, hence slightly tougher. It will be like gradually going from level 1 to level 2 etc . When i youngest, I and my friends memorized this way, and Mashallah managed to learn all the surahs in Chapter 30 - and they only took out 1 hour daily, plus they had schoolwork, riding and all. This is just to encourage you that it is an easy task for a young person such as yourself, inshallah you shall manage wonderfully. Just make it a daily habit.
Another tip, whatever surah you recently learnt, recite in ur salaat daily - will be good practise.
Also, a personal warning from me - I was irresponsible with reciting the surahs I learnt, so I forgot some of them . Pains me a lot. so dont make the mistake I did. and continue your revision/recitation. If not daily, atleast weekly, monthly etc.
